Dagenham remain in the Vanarama National League relegation zone following a 0-0 draw at Braintree.

Harry Phipps came closest to giving Dagenham the win they craved five minutes into the second half when his header from a corner was saved by Braintree goalkeeper Henry Gray.

The hosts thought they had broken the deadlock in the 58th minute through Kyrell Lisbie but the effort was ruled out for offside.

Dagenham remain two points from safety with two games of the season remaining,  and are five points behind their 18th-placed opponents with just two matches of the campaign remaining.
