New Zealand international Mitch Santner made his first appearance of the tournament for the Northern Superchargers in Wednesday's win over the Southern Brave and should keep his place. 

Louis Kimber came into Birmingham Phoenix's side for Tuesday's win over the Oval Invincibles but was dismissed for a golden duck so Aneurin Donald may return in his place.

Birmingham Phoenix opened their account for 2025 with victory over Oval Invincibles on Tuesday.

The Phoenix hit 12 sixes in the win at Edgbaston, five of which came off the bat of Liam Livingstone.

Livingstone scored 92 not out from just 40 balls in his last Hundred appearance at Headingley.

Prediction

Games come thick and fast in The Hundred and both Northern Superchargers and Birmingham Phoenix will be eager to build on their dramatic wins earlier this week when they meet at Headingley. 

The Superchargers are fancied to do just that in Leeds, where they have won their last four matches in the men's competition.

Harry Brook's side have sandwiched wins over the Welsh Fire and Southern Brave with a disappointing effort away to the Trent Rockets, but there is a nice balance to their line-up whereas Birmingham Phoenix look reliant on a few players, especially with the ball. 

The Phoenix conceded 123 from 78 balls in an opening defeat to the Rockets, 109 in 81 as the Brave sauntered to victory and then 180 from the full quota against the Invincibles on Tuesday. 

In total they are conceding almost 1.6 runs per ball in this year's competition and if they continue to leak runs at the same rate, they are unlikely to feature in the top-three reckoning.

The Superchargers, meanwhile, have a top order blessed with power, none more so than skipper Brook, and the Leeds-based franchise have a canny bowling unit featuring world-class spin and a bit of X factor in their pace attack.
