Club World Cup: Predictions for Saturday's games

&w=707&quality=100)
Groups E and F are the focus on Saturday, with Europe strongly represented by Champions League runners-up Inter Milan and Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund both bidding to chalk up their first win after disappointing draws first time out.
Inter, having been held by Monterrey in their Group E opener, square up against Urawa Red Diamonds, while Dortmund, following a goalless affair with Fluminense, tackle Mamelodi Sundowns in Group F.
The other Group E encounter sees leaders River Plate meet Monterrey while Fluminense take on Ulsan, who are bidding to recover from a 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns vs Borussia Dortmund (Saturday, 5pm)
Borussia Dortmund are in need of a response after battling to a goalless draw with Fluminense in their first Group F encounter, and they should deliver the goods against South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
Dortmund, having been out of competitive action since their domestic season ended a month ago, may have needed that first run-out as they did win their final five games in the Bundesliga.
With three clean sheets in their last four outings, the German side may find that one goal is enough to land the spoils against Mamelodi, who edged to a 1-0 victory in their first group encounter with Ulsan Hyundai.
Score prediction: Mamelodi Sundowns 0-1 Borussia Dortmund
Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Diamonds (Saturday, 8pm)
Inter Milan, in their first match since suffering a 5-0 hiding in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, were frustrated in a 1-1 draw with Monterrey in their Group E opener.
However, things should run more smoothly against Urawa Red Diamonds, who were outclassed 3-1 by River Plate in their first fixture of the Club World Cup and that means that they have won only one of their last eight matches.
The gulf in class should be evident but only three clean sheets in Inter’s last 17 outings suggests a clean sheet may still evade them.
Score prediction: Inter Milan 3-1 Urawa Red Diamonds
Fluminense vs Ulsan Hyundai (Saturday, 11pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Fluminense were arguably the better team in their bore draw with Borussia Dortmund but that was their toughest test in Group F on paper and they are likely to amend things against Ulsan Hyundai.
The South Korean side had only three shots on target in a limp 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns and breaching a Fluminense defence that has kept nine clean sheets in their last 18 outings is going to prove extremely difficult.
Score prediction: Fluminense 2-0 Ulsan Hyundai
River Plate vs Monterrey (Saturday, 2am)
River Plate’s Club World Cup campaign started with an impressive 3-1 victory over Urawa Red Diamonds, which stretched their unbeaten run to 18 games, and they should have matters in hand against Monterrey.
The Mexican side may struggle to build on their shock 1-1 draw with Inter, but both teams have scored in eight of River Plate’s last nine matches so it should be an exciting watch.
Score prediction: River Plate 2-1 Monterrey
