- Champions League finalists Inter Milan start their glory bid against Monterrey
- Borussia Dortmund face Fluminense
- Group F underdogs Ulsan HD and Mamelodi Sundowns meet

There are more matches exciting games at the Club World Cup on Tuesday, including Fluminese versus Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

Fluminense, beaten 4-0 by Manchester City in the 2023 CWC final, face in-form Dortmund in Group F, while River Plate take on Urawa Red Diamonds and Ulsan Hyundai are up against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Monterrey vs Inter Milan (Wednesday, 2am)

Champions League finalists Inter Milan should have too much for Mexican outfit Monterrey in their opener.

The 2021 CONCACAF Champions League winners Monterrey are unlikely to be pushovers but heavyweight European experience should tell in Pasadena.

Inter have the quality of Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries and Hakan Calhanoglu and should secure an important early victory at the Rose Bowl.

Score prediction: Monterrey 1-3 Inter Milan

Fluminense vs Borussia Dortmund (Tuesday, 5pm)

Borussia Dortmund won seven of their last eight Bundesliga matches to snatch the final Champions League spot and they should be confident going into their Group F opener against Fluminense.

The Brazilian side reached the 2023 Club World Cup final, where they were thrashed by Manchester City, but they have a modest record in Serie A this season.

Fluminense have scored only 15 goals in 11 games despite facing only one team in the top six and they could be kept quiet by Niko Kovac's impressive Dortmund side.

Score prediction: Fluminense 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

River Plate vs Urawa Red Diamonds (Tuesday, 8pm)

Urawa Red Diamonds are seven points off the pace in the J-League title race this season and their poor away record suggests they may struggle at the Club World Cup.

The Reds have won just one of their 10 road fixtures in the league and they face a daunting Group E opener against Argentinian giants River Plate.

River conceded only 10 goals in 18 games in the first half of the league campaign and they should record a victory to nil.

Score prediction: River Plate 2-0 Urawa Red Diamonds

Ulsan HD vs Mamelodi Sundowns (Tuesday, 11pm)

South Korean champions Ulsan HD are short on confidence after a woeful AFC Champions League campaign in which they lost six of their seven games.

They failed to score in their first four defeats in that tournament and could suffer a narrow defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in Group F.

The Sundowns have won eight South African Premiership titles on the spin and they showcased their defensive strength in the CAF Champions League.

They lost to Egypt's Pyramids in the final but eliminated fellow CWC qualifiers Esperance de Tunis and Al Ahly in the previous two rounds, conceding only one goal in four matches.

Score prediction: Ulsan HD 0-1 Mamelodi Sundowns
