Chelsea vs Manchester United predictions: Blues should shut out struggling visitors

&w=707&quality=100)
- Chelsea's Champions League hopes were dented by last weekend's defeat at Newcastle
- United have taken only two points from their last seven Premier League matches
- Recommended bet: Chelsea to win to nil
Chelsea have lost only two of their 18 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge this season and they are hot favourites to sign off their home campaign with victory over Manchester United.
The Blues are still fighting on two fronts, chasing Champions League qualification and preparing for the Conference League final against Real Betis.
United fans are looking forward to their Europa League final clash with Tottenham but the Red Devils are 16th in the table and are guaranteed their lowest league finish since they were relegated in 1974.
Team news
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is suspended and fellow strikers Christopher Nkunku and Marc Guiu are injured.
United loanee Jadon Sancho is ineligible to face his parent club and Wesley Fofana, Omari Kellyman, Aaron Anselmino and Mykhailo Mudryk are unavailable.
United defender Leny Yoro (ankle) is a doubt. Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee, Diogo Dalot, Toby Collyer and Ayden Heaven are injured.
The stats
&w=707&quality=100)
Chelsea have won five of their last six matches in all competitions.
The Blues have won five of their last eight home games by a 1-0 scoreline.
Chelsea have lost only two of their 18 league fixtures at Stamford Bridge this season.
United have lost five of their last seven Premier League matches.
The Red Devils have failed to score in 11 of their 17 league defeats this season.
United's only wins in their last 13 league games were against relegated Ipswich and Leicester.
Prediction
United's Premier League woes continued with a 2-0 home defeat to West Ham last weekend and they are unlikely to turn things around at Chelsea on Friday.
The Europa League final is the sole focus for manager Ruben Amorim, who is expected to rest key players at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are also targeting European glory in the Conference League but they remain highly motivated in the Premier League.
A victory over United would take them level on points with third-placed Newcastle, who travel to Arsenal this weekend, and Enzo Maresca's men are worth backing to win to nil.
The Blues have won and kept a clean sheet in six of their last nine home games in all competitions, including 1-0 league successes against Leicester, Tottenham and Everton.
Maresca has issues to overcome in attack, with Nicolas Jackson suspended, Christopher Nkunku injured and United loanee Jadon Sancho ineligible.
However, star man Cole Palmer looked back to his best in the 3-1 win over champions Liverpool earlier this month and the home defence has little to fear from United's forwards.
The Red Devils lost 4-3 at Brentford in their last away league fixture but they have failed to score in four of their last seven top-flight games.
The only teams beaten by United in the league since the start of February were relegated Ipswich and Leicester and Amorim's men look set for another frustrating 90 minutes against Champions League-chasing Chelsea.
