- Leeds United top the standings on goal difference from Burnley
- Sheffield United are five points below the top two in third place
- Five points separate Hull in 20th and bottom-placed Plymouth

With just three rounds of fixtures remaining in the Championship, the pressure is well and truly on at both the top and bottom ends of the table.

Monday could be a landmark day for some clubs at the top end of the standings, while the battle to avoid the drop looks like it could go right down to the wire this season.

We’ve got a correct score prediction for all 12 games, starting with relegation-threatened Cardiff playing hosts to Oxford in the Welsh capital and concluding with the biggest game of the day, as Burnley host Sheffield United at Turf Moor.

Cardiff vs Oxford (Monday, 3pm)

This is a must-win game for Cardiff and the Bluebirds look capable of picking up three valuable points against an Oxford side who have a five-point cushion between themselves and the bottom three.

Score prediction: Cardiff 1-0 Oxford

Hull vs Preston (Monday, 3pm)

Hull have lost just one of their last five home games in the Championship and the Tigers can overcome a Preston side who are winless in their last five away games in the league.

Score prediction: Hull 1-0 Preston

Leeds vs Stoke (Monday, 3pm)

Currently on a three-game winning streak, Daniel Farke’s Leeds have found form at a crucial moment in the season. Beating Stoke 2-0 in their previous meeting in Staffordshire at Elland Road, the Whites can do the double over the Potters to take them to the verge of a Premier League return.

Score prediction: Leeds 2-0 Stoke

Luton vs Bristol City (Monday, 3pm)

Bristol City earned a 1-0 win over Luton at Ashton Gate and can complete their own double against the Hatters, who could be set for back-to-back relegation campaigns.

Score prediction: Luton 0-1 Bristol City

Millwall vs Norwich (Monday, 3pm)

Winning their last three home games at The Den, Millwall should be too strong for a Norwich side who are already on the beach after failing to win any of their last four games.

Score prediction: Millwall 2-0 Norwich

Plymouth vs Coventry (Monday, 3pm)

Plymouth can give their survival hopes another shot in the arm with what would be a third-straight home win on Monday against a Coventry side who have failed to win any of their last three away games.

Score prediction: Plymouth 2-1 Coventry

Portsmouth vs Watford (Monday, 3pm)

Watford are another side who already look to be on the beach and Portsmouth can pick up the three points that will guarantee they too will be playing Championship football next season.

Score prediction: Portsmouth 2-0 Watford

QPR vs Swansea (Monday, 3pm)

With nothing riding on this mid-table encounter at Loftus Road, it’s easy to see QPR and Swansea playing out a draw in this one.

Score prediction: QPR 1-1 Swansea

Sheffield Wednesday vs Middlesbrough (Monday, 3pm)

Middlesbrough desperately need the three points on the road to keep their play-off hopes alive and Michael Carrick’s side can do just that against a Sheffield Wednesday side who have little to play for in 15th place in the standings.

Score prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Middlesbrough

Sunderland vs Blackburn (Monday, 3pm)

Sunderland are not in great form heading into the play-offs but they can overcome a Blackburn side who have lost four of their last five away games in the Championship.

Score prediction: Sunderland 2-1 Blackburn

West Brom vs Derby (Monday, 3pm)

No team has drawn more games this season than West Brom and another stalemate is on the cards as relegation-threatened Derby look to get something from their trip to The Hawthorns.

Score prediction: West Brom 1-1 Derby

Burnley vs Sheffield United (Monday, 5.30pm)

With so much on the line between second-place Burnley and third-place Sheffield United, a cagey affair might well be on the cards at Turf Moor. As two excellent defences go head-to-head, a goalless stalemate would be little surprise in this one.

Score prediction: Burnley 0-0 Sheffield United
