Burnley vs Norwich predictions: Clarets to ground visiting Canaries

&w=707&quality=100)
- Burnley drew 0-0 at Derby on Tuesday night
- Norwich finished goalless against Sunderland on the same night
- Recommended bet: Burnley to win to nil
Burnley suffered a rare night of frustration at Derby County on Tuesday as they were held to a goalless draw, but they can return to winning ways back at Turf Moor against an off-colour Norwich City.
The Clarets' 0-0 draw at Pride Park saw Leeds United depose them at the top of the Championship table, but Scott Parker's side will fancy their chances of beating a Canaries team on a run of just one win in seven.
Team news
None of Burnley's injured players will be back meaning Parker is set to stick with the same squad who drew at Derby.
Hannibal Mejbri could make a first start for a month in midfield if Parker does want to freshen things up.
Canaries head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup is not expecting winger Ante Crnac to be fit and Onel Hernandez may not return to the squad after a discipline issue.
Widemen Oscar Schwartau and Anis Ben Slimane limped out of the 0-0 draw with Sunderland, but are expected to be okay to feature at Turf Moor.
The stats
Burnley are unbeaten in 28 Championship matches and have conceded only 12 goals in 41 matches, 16 fewer than any other team.
Scott Parker's side have kept 29 an incredible clean sheets.
Norwich have been trailing at half-time in 10 different away league games, the joint highest in the division.
The Canaries have won only one of their last seven and have failed to win 14 of their last 16 away fixtures.
Prediction
Burnley looked desperately short of invention or firepower in their stalemate at Derby on Tuesday night, mustering just seven shots, only two of which were on target.
Norwich were not a lot better at home to Sunderland on the same evening, also drawing 0-0 and firing off only 11 efforts.
It has been a long, hard season for all these teams, so it comes down to grit, determination and the will to win now and there is a sense that that plays to Burnley's strengths.
Parker's men do not score a lot of goals – Norwich, nine places below them, have scored seven more – but they hardly give up anything at the other end.
City have a pair of in-form frontmen in 17-goal Borja Sainz and 14-goal Josh Sargent – first and third in the Golden Boot race – but they will be feeding off scraps at Turf Moor.
Norwich are a side who have built a reputation on scoring goals, especially at home, but they appear to be running out of juice and their away form is not the best anyway.
The Clarets have enjoyed 17 wins to nil this term and you should be able to mark this down for number 18.
