Burnley vs Millwall predictions: Clarets can do their part to clinch title

&w=707&quality=100)
- Burnley need to earn at least one point more than Leeds to win the title
- A win could be enough to see Millwall clinch a play-off place, depending on results elsewhere
- Recommended bet: Burnley to win to nil
Despite already securing promotion, Burnley proved they were not content with that achievement when routing QPR 5-0 last weekend as they bid to secure the title.
Unfortunately for the Clarets, their title rivals Leeds beat Bristol City on Monday to move back to the summit. The pair are level on points heading into the final day, but the Whites have a far greater goal difference, meaning Burnley must earn more points against Millwall than Leeds do at Plymouth.
That will not be easy, however, as Millwall are sitting seventh ahead of their trip to Turf Moor and know a win could see them earn a place in the play-offs, making Saturday’s clash in Lancashire a massive one.
Team news
Jordan Beyer, Bashir Humphreys, Enock Agyei, Mike Tresor and Jonjo Shelvey are out for the Clarets, who will also assess Lyle Foster, Manuel Benson and Aaron Ramsey.
Zian Flemming is ineligible to face his parent club even though he will join Burnley on a permanent basis in the summer.
Former Clarets goalkeeper Lukas Jensen is sidelined alongside Zak Lovelace, Dan McNamara, Calum Scanlon and Duncan Watmore, with Millwall also needing to assess Billy Mitchell, Raees Bangura-Williams, Joe Bryan and Liam Roberts.

The stats
Burnley have kept an astonishing 30 clean sheets in the Championship this term.
Millwall have won five of their last six games, but the Clarets have won seven of their last eight games at Turf Moor.
The Lions have lost just eight of their 25 matches under Alex Neil.
Burnley have lost none of their 27 home games this term, while Millwall have lost three of their last four on the road.
Prediction
Burnley and Scott Parker will be eager to prove the bookies, who have already installed them as odds-on shots for relegation from the Premier League, wrong next term, but first thing’s first, win the title.
Of course, achieving that is not entirely in their hands, and they will require a favour from League One-bound Plymouth if they are to be crowned champions, but Parker’s men can at least keep up their side of the bargain.
The Clarets are yet to lose a home game this term and they will be keen to sign off from an excellent season by keeping their unbeaten Turf Moor record intact.
The signs are there that they should, given they have won seven of their last eight matches at Turf Moor, beating Sheffield United and Bristol City in that run, and they could do so by securing a relatively comfortable three points.
The Clarets’ clean sheet at QPR was their record-breaking 30th of the season; no Championship side has ever recorded more, and they can shut out Millwall.
The Lions need a win themselves and will not go down without a fight. However, they have lost three of their last four away games and would have stood a much stronger chance of reaching the play-offs if this finale was being played at the Den.
