Burnley or draw, double chance

Two teams battling for automatic promotion from the Championship meet at Turf Moor on Monday evening, when Burnley take on Leeds.

Just three points separate these two sides, with the Whites holding the advantage over the Clarets and the result in Lancashire could go a long way to deciding the overall outcome of the division.

Team news

Burnley are without the services of Manuel Benson, Nathan Redmond, Aaron Ramsey and Jordan Beyer due to injury, while Hannes Delcroix has joined Swansea on loan until the end of the season.

Leeds will not be available to call upon the services of the injured Pascal Struijk, though recent scans have been positive and he could make a return to first-team training in the next seven days or so.

Daniel Farke says he expects to have the same groups of players at his disposal from the 2-0 home victory over Norwich City last time out.

The stats

Burnley are unbeaten at home this season, winning six and drawing seven, while their tally of four goals conceded at Turf Moor is the best in the division.

The Clarets boast the best defensive record in the Championship, conceding a miserly nine times, and they have kept six successive clean sheets in the league.

Leeds are on a three-game winning streak heading into this contest, all of those victories coming at Elland Road where they have collected a division-leading 38 points.

The Whites have not matched that home form on the road, winning 17 points less, while they have won just three of their last 10 away assignments.

Prediction

There will be little to separate these two teams as neither will want to make a slip in the automatic promotion race, but there is just a bit more confidence in Burnley given they are at home.

Scott Parker has made Turf Moor a fortress this season, with no team managing to get the better of the Clarets and only four sides able to score in Lancashire.

Leeds certainly have the attacking threat to challenge Burnley, but the Whites have been held in two of their last four away outings and they are not firing on all cylinders on the road.

The Clarets are an appealing 2/1 with LiveScore Bet to pick up the win but, given the fact four of their last five league matches at home have finished level, the safer play here is to back them in the double chance market.
