Bournemouth vs Wolves predictions: Cherries can gain revenge in the cup

&w=707&quality=100)
- Bournemouth last reached the FA Cup quarter-finals in 2020-21
- Wolves are aiming to make the last-eight stage for the second season in a row
- Recommended bet: Bournemouth to win and both teams to score
Bournemouth and Wolves lock horns for the third time this season when they clash at the Vitality Stadium in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Cherries beat Wolves 4-2 at Molineux in November before Wanderers got their revenge with a 1-0 triumph on the south coast last weekend.
Team news
Bournemouth remain without the suspended Illia Zabarnyi, who serves the second game of his three-match ban for his sending off against Wolves last weekend.
Adam Smith, Julian Araujo, Marcos Senesi, Ryan Christie and Enes Unal are all injured.
Wolves have a length injury list with Emmanuel Agbadou, Hee Chan Hwang, Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo Gomes, Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera and Leon Chiwone all sidelined.
The stats
&w=707&quality=100)
Bournemouth have lost their last two games heading into this contest, going down 1-0 at home to Wolves and then 2-1 at Brighton.
The Cherries have won two of their last three FA Cup ties at home, beating Swansea (5-0) and West Brom (5-1).
Andoni Iraola's side have kept just one clean sheet from their last five matches in all competitions.
Wolves were beaten 2-1 at home by Fulham in midweek, their second loss from their last three fixtures.
Vitor Pereira's troops have failed to score in just three of their 17 away assignments.
Prediction
These two sides faced off just a matter of days ago and while it was Wolves that came out on top that day on the south coast, they may not enjoy their trip to the Vitality Stadium as much on Saturday.
Bournemouth were reduced to 10 men in the 31st minute when Zabarnyi was given his marching orders, but Iraola's side battled gamely throughout and were perhaps unfortunate not to get anything from the contest.
The fact Wolves failed to make their man advantage count for more than one goal is a concern and the Cherries will be itching to gain revenge for that defeat on home soil.
Bournemouth have generally been strong at the Vitality this season, beating the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest, and they could have too much for a Wolves side that have been hit-and-miss on the road.
However, this is unlikely to be routine for the hosts, who have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last two home fixtures, and a Wolves side that have scored in 14 of their 17 away games should be able to find the back of the net.
