- Bologna's only Coppa Italia triumphs came in 1969-70 and 1973-74
- AC Milan scored three goals in the last 20 minutes of Friday's 3-1 Serie A win over Bologna
- Recommended bet: AC Milan to win 2-1
Bologna and AC Milan meet in Wednesday's Coppa Italia final in Rome and both clubs are hoping to end long waits for cup glory.
The most recent of Milan's five Coppa triumphs came in 2003 while this is Bologna's first appearance in the final for 51 years.
The rivals are also competing for European places in Serie A and Milan came from behind to claim a valuable 3-1 home win over Bologna at San Siro on Friday.
Team news
Bologna will assess the fitness of Dan Ndoye, Emil Hilm and Jens Odgaard but Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson is set to start after being rested for Friday's Serie A trip to Milan.
AC Milan welcome back winger Rafael Leao, who missed the league win over Bologna due to suspension.
Fikayo Tomori and Youssouf Fofana should be fit for the final but Warren Bondo and Riccardo Sottil are likely to miss out.
The stats
Four of Bologna's last eight wins were by a 2-1 scoreline
Only one of Bologna's last nine matches produced over 3.5 goals
Bologna have conceded only one goal in four Coppa Italia games this season
AC Milan have won their last four games in all competitions
The Rossoneri have conceded the first goal in eight of their last 12 matches
Both teams have scored in 11 of Milan's last 15 league and cup games
Prediction

AC Milan are two points behind Bologna in Serie A but they are finishing the season strongly and should be backed to claim a tight victory in the Coppa Italia final.
The 2-1 Milan correct score is worth a look, given that clean sheets are a rarity for Sergio Conceicao's side.
They showcased their attacking quality in Friday's league meeting with Bologna, who led 1-0 until the 73rd minute before a Santiago Gimenez brace and a Christian Pulisic goal gave the Rossoneri a 3-1 win.
Milan enjoyed a memorable semi-final tie against rivals Inter, beating the Champions League finalists 3-0 in the second leg to seal a 4-1 aggregate victory.
They have also won four of their last five league matches, keeping alive their chances of qualifying for Europe next term, and have scored at least twice in seven of their last nine.
Bologna, who beat Milan 2-1 in February's reverse fixture, look less formidable in attack.
They have won only one of their last six league games – a 1-0 home victory over Inter, clinched by a 93rd-minute Riccardo Orsolini strike.
Influential Swiss winger Ndoye is a fitness doubt for Bologna, who beat Monza 4-0 and Atalanta 1-0 before a 5-1 aggregate win over Empoli in the Coppa semi-finals.
But Empoli are involved in the Serie A relegation scrap while Milan, with classy Portugal winger Leao returning from a ban, are in far better shape and they can edge an entertaining final at the Stadio Olimpico.
