Ten-man National League leaders Barnet saw their four-match winning run end with a 0-0 draw at struggling Boston.
Boston could not capitalise on their man advantage after Barnet defender Danny Collinge was sent off in the 41st minute for a challenge on Oisin Gallagher.
Gallagher played on until just before half-time, when Graham Coughlan was forced to replace him with Jordan Richards.
Boston breathed a sigh of relief when goalkeeper Cameron Gregory’s error early in the second half did not lead to a Barnet goal.
The Bees sit two points clear of Forest Green at the top of the table, while second-bottom Boston are nine points from safety.
