Alex Reid and Regan Linney both scored twice as Wealdstone and Altrincham were forced to share the spoils in a 3-3 National League draw.

The hosts took a 20th-minute lead when Kallum Cesay pounced after keeper Ethan Ross had parried Sam Ashford’s initial attempt, but it lasted just 14 minutes as Tom Crawford tapped home after keeper Toby Steward had failed to hold Alex Newby’s dipping free-kick.

Altrincham were ahead eight minutes later when Linney broke free down the left before cutting inside and beating Steward.

However, Reid ensured that the sides were locked together at 2-2 when he struck from Cesay’s ball on the stroke of half-time.

Linney doubled his tally from the penalty spot nine minutes into the second half after Tyler Golden had been brought down, but Reid levelled once again when he headed home Anthony Georgiou’s 74th-minute cross.
