If you were like us, who said it as they read it, it is, in fact, not pronounced Sic Bo but “See Bo.” It is a Chinese dice game similar in some ways to another classic casino title, Craps, but it offers lots of unique betting options that make it different from other games.

Sic Bo translates to ‘precious dice’ in Chinese. It is a fast-paced dice game involving three dice. It is suitable for beginners and experienced online casino players, and the skills and rules can be picked up quickly.

Small and Big Bets

The most basic bets that can be placed in Sic Bo are Small and Big bets. A Small bet is when players bet on any dice sum between 4 and 10. 

A Big bet is when the sum is between 11 and 17. Both of these bets will pay even money and have the smallest house edge. 

The sums of 3 and 18, however, are missing, because when you place a Small or Big bet, any three dice with the same numbers will be a loss. 

Single, Double and Triple Bets

Single bets involve betting that a specific number between 1 and 6 will appear on one, two, or all three of the dice. It will mean that if your number appears on one dice, the payout is even. If it appears on two dice, the payout is 2 to 1, and on three, 3 to 1. 

Double bets involve predicting that two of the dice will end up with the same number. This bet will typically pay 10 to 1.

Triple bets involve a bet being placed on all three of the dice showing the same number. This is any triple, any three of any kind. 

Combination Bets

A combination bet is where players bet on any or all 15 of the possible two-dice combinations. Two of the dice must show a combination of two different numbers, such as 3 and 4, in order to win!

Total Sum Bets

This bet involves players betting on the total of all three dice thrown. The potential payout will vary depending on the total thrown. For example, 4 or 17 pays 50:1 to 62:1, 5 or 16 pays 18:1 to 21:1, 6 or 15 pays 14:1 to 18:1, and so on.
