West Ham head into their second match of the new season reeling from an opening day defeat to newly promoted Sunderland, as the Hammers got beaten 3-0 by the Black Cats. It was not the start to the season that Graham Potter had hoped for, especially following a positive pre-season.
Chelsea head across the capital on the back of a goalless draw against another London side, Crystal Palace. The Blues had a lucky escape following a goal from Eberechi Eze's free kick being ruled out. Enzo Maresca’s side looked flat, despite fielding their new and promising-looking summer signings. However, they will take the positives of keeping a clean sheet with them to the London Stadium in the hope of securing three points to go alongside it.
Chelsea - Tosin Adarabioyo is expected to have returned to training this week, but will most likely remain a doubt for Friday's fixture. Levi Colwill remains out, alongside Roméo Lavia and Benoît Badiashile. Nicholas Jackson is back available after serving his suspension last time out.
West Ham - Crysencio Summerville is set to be out of the side until September, while George Earthy is also a doubt to make the fixture.
Chelsea Win - 8/13
West Ham Win - 17/4
Draw - 3/1
Estevao to Score - 9/4
Niclas Fullkrug to Score - 13/5
Over 2.5 Goals - 8/11
BTTS YES - 3/4
If you’re following Premier League betting, Chelsea are strong favourites here, but West Ham’s home record in derbies means value could lie in goals markets such as BTTS or Over 2.5 Goals.
