Matchweek 6 of the Premier League sees two undefeated sides come up against each other, one side still looking to get points on the board, and others still looking to find their for, as we take a look at what is coming up this weekend!
Matchweek 5 of the Premier League saw Aston Villa score their first goal of the season, West Ham United the only side to remain on 0 points, and Crystal Palace maintain their unbeaten record to become the only side apart from the Champions yet to lose a match.
A red card for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in Chelsea’s match against Manchester United, and a questionable tactical switch from Enzo Maresca, saw Ruben Amorim’s side secure the victory against the London club.
Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal saw Pep Guardiola’s side officially having the worst start to a season since 2006/07.
Nottingham Forest could also be showing signs of things turning around under new boss Ange Postecoglou; however, they are still in search of their first victory since the opening weekend following a draw against Burnley.
Liverpool 2-1 Everton
Burnley 1-1 Nottingham Forest
Brighton 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham 1-2 Crystal Palace
Wolves 1-3 Leeds United
Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea
Fulham 3-1 Brentford
Sunderland 1-1 Aston Villa
Bournemouth 0-0 Newcastle United
Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City
The two remaining undefeated sides in the Premier League meet again on Saturday, with both looking to maintain their records. It will be the first time the sides have met since the Community Shield, which saw Palace beat Liverpool on penalties.
Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways at home against Brighton, while Sunderland look to continue their excellent run of form that has seen them claim eight points from their opening matches and currently occupying 7th in the Premier League table.
West Ham United will be hoping to get their first win of the season as pressure mounts on manager Graham Potter, as his Hammers side face Everton on Monday night.
