Man City have had their worst start to a Premier League season since the 2006/07 season that has seen them win just two of their opening five matches. They find themselves ninth in the Premier League table and enter the fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw against Arsenal last weekend. Despite the results, City have not struggled to find the back of the net, having scored nine goals in six games, with Erling Haaland showing no signs of struggling for goals.
Burnley have had a mixed run of results in their season back in the Premier League and find themselves 16th in the table having won one, drawn one, and lost three. They have had some good performances such as against Manchester United where they narrowly missed out on a point, and head into the match against Manchester City off the back of a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. It will also see the return of Kyle Walker to his old club, now playing for The Clarets.
Manchester City
Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Omar Marmoush are out with injuries.
Erling Haaland should recover to be in the starting 11.
Burnley
Connor Roberts, Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni, and Jacob Bruun Larsen remain as doubts through injuries.
