What to Expect from the 2025 Cincinnati Open?

Being the final tour event before the US Open, there is lots of exciting action set to come in Ohio as players look to head into the US Open Grand Slam off the back of success and good form.

The Men’s singles has been boosted from 56 players to 96, resulting in the tournament being extended to 14 days.

Who is playing?

The Cincinnati Open will see lots of the top tennis players take to the court, including last year's singles champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.

There is plenty of home interest, including the number 4 seed Taylor Fritz, the number 2 seed Coco Gauff, and the number 3 seed Jessica Pegula.

Top Seeds:

Women’s Singles

  1. Aryna Sabalenka

  2. Coco Gauff

  3. Jessica Pegula

  4. Iga Swiatek

  5. Jasmine Paolini

Men’s Singles

  1. Jannik Sinner

  2. Carlos Alcaraz

  3. Alexander Zverev

  4. Taylor Fritz

  5. Novak Djokovic

Ones to Watch

Jannik Sinner - Chasing his fifth Masters 1000 title, Sinner is certainly one to keep an eye on at the tournament, especially following his victory in the Gentlemen’s singles at Wimbledon. He is also defending his own title, having won the tournament last year.

Carlos Alcaraz - Number two seed Carlos Alcaraz will be looking to make it to the final of the Cincinnati Open and get another title on the board following a hugely successful season. The Spaniard exited in the second round of the tournament last year, something that he will be looking to avoid this year.

Coco Gauff - A strong player on hard courts, Coco Gauff is hard to ignore coming into the tournament. The American enters as the number two seed into one of her home tournaments and will be looking for a winning feeling heading into her home Grand Slam.

Cincinnati Open Betting Predictions

With Jannik Sinner looking to defend his titles, the Italian is also heading into the tournament off the back of a Wimbledon victory against Carlos Alcaraz. Looking strong and in good form, we are backing the 22-year-old to make it to the final and create a rematch of Wimbledon against Alcaraz.

Despite falling short at Wimbledon, it is hard to ignore Aryna Sabalenka, who has been dominating women’s tennis. However, we are expecting Coco Gauff to put up a fight and progress into the final.
